unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

the street shadow...

i walk the lonely streets
phantom shadows without you

and see the world around me
bleak and empty without your presence

i hear the sounds of music
made silent without your laugh

and taste the dark sweet chocolate
turned bitter without your lips

i smell the flowers’ fragrances

malodorousness without you

and feel the shafts of sun upon me
turn icy cold without your arms

i sleep away the darkness
made hellish without your touch

and speak the language
of loveless words without your name

i write these words
indelibly spilling from

my bleeding heart

and dream of days now gone
of life with you

stacey, your words, to me, anyway, do speak of deep lasting shadow love - but you know, it's strange how our minds our hearts and our memories sometimes betray us! thanks so much for coming by!

this was so moving, i almost wept..,this journey feels so familiar in your words, many years tho the memories do fade, a blessing and a curse both the same....

All those statements and phrases filled with contradictions. "music made silent" and "sweet chocolate turned bitter"... And although the dreams and memories of times gone by, I like that it ends with "... of life with you..."

ah, yes, lovelylinda, it seems certain that you and i have lived in the same neighborhood and walked the same street before! for me, it's so comforting to know that and i am grateful for your presence in my life!

oh, and linda, one more thing - DO the memories really fade? it's been two years for me and they are at least as vibrant today, if not more - ???
:)

I just had to come visit, as you've crossed my path many times this week!
Your words are lovely and as our mutual friend Deb had mentioned at my place, there seem to be echoes of longing, among our blog travels. I can definitely see this here in your writing and beautiful art and photos that you choose.

You do indeed have the soul and heart of a gypsywoman.

loved my visit~

oh, hello calli - thank you so much for the visit and kind words - it's always wonderful to come across kindred spirits such as you and deb and the others who visit the gypsy camps here! and you know, like i've said before, i think we are each gypsies of a sort, traveling through this life, wandering, searching, seeking - thanks again for such a nice note and please come again soon - and often! have a glorious day!

Our kindred spirits lead us to where we need to be don't they?
I love that I have found so many who can articulate my thoughts and feelings. Who write such beautiful words. What a gift.

Wouldn't it be fun if we could all meet, sit around the fire and get to know each other! What an interesting visit we would have!

I always find such lovely and honest words here.

it's wonderful that you mention the meeting of kindred spirits 'round the fire, because i have been thinking of that for this last week - like, thinking of it a lot! - and have almost done a post about it! but, here you are, words right there! and you are so right! what fun!! what things to talk about! what magic to muster!!!

thank you so much for your always kind caring and thoughtful words, here, kindred spirit!
