last night
i lay
in the imprint
of your dreams
i lay
in the imprint
of your dreams
upon my bed
this morning
i woke
to the imprint
of your heart
upon my own
i woke
to the imprint
of your heart
upon my own

- these words are the result of a dream i had last night - a dream in which i felt the imprint of another's body beside me and dreamed that i needed to write these words down - when i woke, there on my bed, scribbled in my hand were these words -

you have put your heart in these recent posts and the last makes mine break...thank you for sharing all, it speaks of one's soul and TO one's soul, my own. much love, sweet friend. xoxox
Oh, in so few words you have caught that quiet touching of heart to heart that happens in the split-second blink of an eye! Do we know just how quickly imprints are left upon hearts? But the effects of those imprints are everlasting!
I loved this completely, Jenean!
Nevine
dearest lovelylinda! how incredibly wonderful to see you muster your way over here - and i am so pleased that you like this little piece - and the others - they DO come from my heart and i know you recognize that - as they may reside in your own, as well - thank you so much for your own words from the heart - and for coming by! much love - j
you are so right, dear nevine - about quickly - in less than one single heartbeat - that imprint can be made and will forever be branded upon our heart - forever - and how truly magnificent that is!
You're brilliant, that's the bottom line. The words that flow, the images you select, each post speaks to the humanity we are.
oh, trish - your words as always humble me so - and my heart thanks you - you know, this piece is another of those surreal dreams i have - and i heard these words in my dream - when i woke, and found the words scribbled in my bed, it was even more surreal - and i knew the exact image for them - anyway, thank you so much!
beautiful! both you and your poetry.
love the artwork that you assign to each post.
