unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

tweet me, but tweet me gently, please!

they saw...

they saw confinement
i felt contentment
they saw withdrawal
i was within
they saw slavery
i became free
they saw what they saw
i stayed

I a simple Frog, Gypsywoman. I love the picture, it's beautiful, stripped of about everything.

The words can have so many different meanings... help me in my stupidity.

excellent, GypsyWoman!

oh, but, dear sire, you are far far from being the simple frog - or the simple anything - be that as it may, however - the bottom line is exactly as you said - that the words can have so many different meanings - it's about perspective - whether it's a new home or a lifestyle or a relationship - it's all in what we individually see in that thing - for example, some might view having a relationship with someone who is married or who lives on another continent or whatever as confining, withdrawing from "real" life and relationships, as indenturing, even - but, that does not necessarily make it so to the people involved - also for example, some might view living in such a space in the same light - however, for me, i see beauty in that room, in its aging charm, in its lines and natural ambiance, beauty in the huge window through which pours the sunlight - i would be wonderfully happy in such a space - others might find it all negative - but regardless of others thoughts of "the/my room" remaining true to me is what counts -

just perspective - that's all - perspective -

hi chuck - thanks so much for coming over - and leaving as always a comment! i'll be over your way in just minutes! have a great day!

Well, Gypsywoman... Let me tell you then. This is a testimony of centuries past, what remains after old people left for some place unknown. It's luminous but cold - where is life? Life in black and white fades away, unless it's a smile, a laugh, a wink, a gesture of seduction... or a woman.

This is a place to - how would I say - make mine, it has great potential, and will require work and love.

oh, see, cher monsieur, that's what i mean precisely - it's perspective - and i think yours is a tad more literal than mine, chère!

but thanks for coming back by....
