greetings, dear friends - to those who have not already received this message from me via email today - just this morning, one of my dear blogging friends in ireland posted a request for his BFs' home addresses so that he might send each of us a xmas card this year - it seems that in ireland, one does not send out xmas cards in the year in which a family member has passed on, as he had this past year - so, for this year, he wanted to send as many as possible - the whole thing of holiday cards took me right down memory lane to all the wonderful cards i received all my life, until the virtual world made such handwritten cards almost obsolete -
and so it is that i thought what a wonderful thing it would be for the NEW YEAR of 2011 - to send each of you a "real" card to your "real" home in the "real" world - hence, my request for your "real" address so that i might let you know i'm thinking of you with the new year!

Great idea- I will!
thanks so much, dulce! so happy to hear that you will!! have a great day!
I have just become a follower of your second blog--or maybe its your first--at least the second one of yours I follow! I know that if we were neighbors we'd be friends; I appreciate what you have to say/what you write. Although we contact each other in the blogosphere I truly think actual letter writing should be kept alive--that's why I sell ArtVelopes--those hand made art envelopes on my site. I believe the spirit connection is deeply felt when one receives a handwritten mailed letter...Let's keep letter writng alive!! Pam
greetings pam - thank you so much for such a nice comment - and that we share such similar views, all the better - wonderful to find a kindred spirit - i've been by your blog and absolutely fell in love with it! just great - i'll be adding you to my sidebar once i find/take the time to sit down and play catch up on my own blogs! and here's to keeping letter writing alive and well!!! peace and love - jenean
I long to keep letter writing alive!! Not just at Christmastime but all year long. It is quickly becoming a lost art and I can't bear the thought. I designed artvelopes, which you can see on my blog and buy at Etsy, for the very purpose of people sending something fun, artistic, and handwritten so a friend can have a tangible keepsake. My address is: Pam Malafronte

hello again, pam! yes, i've seen your fabulous art work and fell in love with it - i think there is nothing better than the written word, written by hand, read in the hand and carried in the heart!
