listen to the beating of my heart -
does it my love to you impart
listen to the beating of my heart -
it was yours from the start
listen to the words of my beating heart -
listen to the words of my beating heart -
do you hear it say we’ll never part
listen to the tears of my beating heart -
listen to the tears of my beating heart -
do you feel it crying in the dark
listen to the sounds of my beating heart -
listen to the sounds of my beating heart -
do you feel it ripping apart
listen to the beating of my heart -
can you hear it from afar
as honor does now
our love thwart

Emotional and from the heart as always Gypsy.
Sadness of a love lost.
and seems not to lessen at all with the passage of time - time which, for a short while, stood still for us, for which i am so grateful - for even that frozen moment of time -
as always your writing is emotional and from the heart, Gypsy.
I am fascinated and in love with this image. There's something about it that just makes me wonder of her stories. Where did you find it?
I've looked up jw cameron and can't find anything similar.
your comment just now is very very curious, deb, as i was just literally thinking of you as i have been posting tonight - i mean, it was as if you were right here in my home - really spooky seeing your comment just now!!! ;) but in a good wonderful way!!! ;)
oh, good grief, on the artist's name, i see i have a typo and transposed her initials of JM to JW - my apologies - the artist/photographer is julia margaret cameron who was active in the mid 1800s - the woman in this image is actually her niece, julia prinsep jackson who is the mother of virginia woolf - cameron's images are fabulous and take on a sort of pre-raphaelite appearance through her camera - in any event, i love her work which so captures the spirit of her subjects - so so sorry for the typo!!! check her out - i know you'll love all her work!
wonderful to see you - and did you check out my post below? please do - my memory is very fuzzy at the moment so in the event you have responded, please forgive - it's been a very very long day!!! ;)
in my heart
not one can see
but if you stop
to talk
my heart whispers
true and clearly
your friend
is here
in my heart
