unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

tweet me, but tweet me gently, please!

sins of the heart...

what sin is it we did commit
which of our acts must we repent
that fate conspires to tear apart
the gods alone should love impart
that though our hearts beat true as one
we may not love till life is done
what sin is it
our hearts commit

Love, of course, always love the best and worst of all sins, lady!

Sin... since when is love a sin, forbidden or not, sweet Jenean?

No, it's not a sin... it's simply an endless torment, sometimes for two, maybe three or four persons. Not a sin but often a tragic mistake.

I will end up believing that I am a simple man. Some things I want to protect so dearly... Several women made advances towards me in the last years. In one case it was a dear friend or Hélène and I...

One can dream, even do some "window-shopping", but... I've got no right to destroy the life of someone else. Maybe I am a man of principles, maybe I do not know myself. Maybe,

oh, dear roger - the thing of a sin - yes, true love in and of itself, never a sin - but, if and when acted upon, in certain circumstances, then does the act itself become a sin - if no others are hurt? or is it a moral dilemma only if others are hurt? but even if acted upon, the act itself comes from the heart's love - so, in that case, then, a sin of the heart? i've no clue if what i just said makes any sense at all to anyone else - the hour is late - and i'm exhausted - so please read with compassion!!! ;)

thank you so much, roger, for your always thoughtful responses here - they are cherished!

thank you so much for your words, trish - especially today when my focus seems to be so distorted and/or non-existent! it humbles me so that you find these little things with any favor at all! ;)

dearest cousin - yes, balls of liquid red freezing motion and time - and my heart - and was not the "red sign" itself a "sign" to "stop" - to not proceed? or was it a "sign" surely from the red red heart - a sign to follow the heart?

ah, if only i knew - but you see, to start again would mean not stopping again - i know this to be true - and therein lies the moral dilemma for me -

interesting wv here - damenes
