unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

tweet me, but tweet me gently, please!

the light of darkness...

into
the darkness

shut out
the day

leave that
world behind
weave your way
through my skin
into my heart
where time
stands still

unfettered
untethered

where
darkness is
the beacon

guiding me
lighting
the path

to you
to us
to our time
our world
the world
of darkness

Oh, how beautiful... that world of darkness... that secret world of US. Your words are gorgeous, Jenean!

I'm gonna lie to you
Lie to you sweet Jenean
But how could I

Would I tell you how marvellous this poem is, how it is your best ever... Could I simply leave a word saying how extraordinary this is... Could I, should I, why, rather why not, I do not know...

Beautiful I do not know, it would take me half a beer to tell you that, then I would not know if such a short superlative would not rather be an insult!

My I'm in swinging moods, this half-naked woman draws my eye like a magnet...

In the end you will not know if I like this poem or not. You see the dilemma 'cause you're a very bright woman: answering in a few words would devalue it whatever I say, but answering at length could be no fun...

In the end, I'm not sure that this poem is very important, sweet Jenean. You, as a woman, are, and terribly.

I'm not sure that I'm making any sense tonight. Maybe you'll erase this comment, maybe not, that's the thrill.

i think the image is a magnificent thing in and of itself and even as a post with no words, would more than speak volumes, don't you think, trish? but it did seem to go with these little words that spilled from my pen one day!

you know, nevine, that world of darkness truly does hold such beauty - perhaps more than the lighted world, yes? in any event, it is certainly a place near and dear to my own heart, the world of darkness! and your own words here mean so much!
