unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

tweet me, but tweet me gently, please!

deep within...

my want of
you
lies deep
deep within
too deep
within
to let loose
the salty tears
leaving trails
of all my fears
stuck deep

deep within
too deep
within

my want of
you

Moving, gypsy woman, truly moving.., you succeed in reaching something deep into me, something I did not know could exist. Do you see, I found nothing really stupid to add, for once? :-)

I hope you read my answer to your comment, about art... I will add this: notwithstanding the Impressionists, Shostakovich, Sibelius. Rachmaninov and others, modern composers and painters (mainly 20th century) have tried hard to show that beauty was not essential in art. French philosopher André Malraux wrote that "art was an answer to metaphysical questions"

To be continued... :-)

and your kind words here never fail to move me, roger - never - and i am humbled by them always - it is such a fine gift to hear that another finds meaning in one's own thoughts/words and i thank you for that, as well -

yes, i went over just now to read your [always] interesting stimulating comment of art - particularly intriguing is the quote of malraux that you mention - something to ponder, dear sir, is it not?

If you can take this deep place from which you conjure such beauty, and turn it into a book, we will all be the richer for it.

sometimes, it's just so simple - that want - nothing more to say! ;)

Oh that is so similar to what that I want ... and always wanted... HUn, this time you moved my heart in that- so intimate feeling when- OMG i swim in deep, into love, grief and happiness... all at the very same time...

GYPSYWOMAN said...

oh, dulce, there is truly truly nothing at all quite like the "want" is there? the getting is almost, at times, superfluous, anti-climatic - and when gotten, only intensifies the want! exquisite!

"the getting is almost, at times, superfluous'.....ahhhhhh, but yes, dear cousin. We speak and feel and express the same language which, as Roger whispers, is only, "Ssshhhhh....." And then when it is too late, we regret that which remained "Ssshhhh"......Yes. Too late. His voice is just a whisper that breezes through my soul and leaves his forever touch in its wake.

dear cousin - it is truly that - just a whisper breezing through my soul, leaving forever his touch in its wake - shhhhh.......
