unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

the love of alice...

if i look long enough
if i look hard enough
do you think it possible
that i  might find
my long lost lovin’ mind
lost to the
ravages of your
mysterious kind
if i look deep enough
and deeper still
might i find love
upon the hard flat sill
that borders the lifescape
of your worn weary heart
if i climb down and down
into the looking glass now
might i be then a
part of your life
a life so lost in the
echos of time
no longer true
nothing makes sense
just a piece of this
cold hard brass
if i look long enough
if i look deep enough
if i climb down enough
where would i be
neverneverland
and no longer
me

We look and look, and it seems, we never do find ourselves. Or, if we do, we are "no longer me". Sad...

Stay with you, don't sell your soul to another, not completely anyway, find your inner love first, then and only then will the bounty of the Universe explode taking you to the depths of passion that words can never convey...............

stacey - yes, sometimes a washingover is what we need - i feel that way a lot -

and, too, nevine, if we continue to look for what others want to see in us we no longer are true to ourselves - we cannot change our nature for someone else's perspective - truth is all -

exactly, gemel! you said it so well!

But why a mirror
Why a mirror gypsy woman
No woman needs a mirror
None that I know

Women are beauty
And beauty is their eyes

Don't look into the past
Don't feel any regrets
Your eyes can warm
Even the deep cold

Don't look into the past
Watch whom you look at
Because a single look
Can make you a slave

Don't look in the mirror

Hi Jenean. May I be so bold as to ask when did you write all of the poems/words of wisdom etc? Your output is prolific...you are a thinking machine.

oh, hi, trevor! and please don't ever hesitate to ask a question here - not that i'll have an answer :)
however, in this case, it's really simple - i just write as i go - for a poem, whenever i sit down to do a post, sometimes i'll have a thought or a word or an image that i'm "playing" with - and i'll take that thought or word or image and let IT "speak" to me, literally - right in that moment - and i sit and type most times into the post itself - for longer pieces, i might draft over in wordperfect, but short ones, just here in the post box - so, i don't have a "stockpile" of poems or quotes, if that's what you're asking - i just kind of make it up as i go, so to speak - which is not always a good thing if i'm having a "dry spell" in between moon phases by which i am very much impacted - the week prior to and the week of and the week after full moons are always my most creative - what about you and your images? i mean, you have several sites too - how do you go about all of yours? and you have to go outdoors for all those beautiful images!!! at least, i'm in from the cold and the rain, etc! thanks so much for coming by trevor!!!

We do forever look, but I think we forever evolve so what we 'see' simply changes, sometimes for good and sometimes not so good. But we remain who we are at our core, our truest selves

Lovely Gypsywoman~ and I hope your weekend is equally as lovely.

Thanks for the answer Jenean. I find it even more remarkable you can do that..it is the talent of an Author. It is a lot easier to take photographs with the hand pressed on the shutter button of todays digital cameras. I can take a few hundred images in a day and hope one will provide me with what I seek. You cannot afford that kind of luxury

great comment, calli! and you're so right! forever looking forever evolving only to look more - not changing only evolving - absolutely!!!

for me, trevor, it's all about the "feeling" - or "feelings" - responses, reactions to things around me to things in me - like triggers so to speak - for example, i might just see a single word or maybe two words in a magazine [ie fuoco velle venne below] and instantly, i have a visceral response to them and then, the thoughts and words just pour out faster than i can write - that isn't to say there aren't barren strips in between - there are - but i don't "try" at all - "trying" simply won't work - for me, it's just like blinking or breathing - anyway, sorry, i'm rambling....
about digital cameras, i have a new really expensive one and find that i rarely use it - in my really busy photography days, i had my little nikon f2 and it was like an appendage to me - it went everywhere i did and i was constantly shooting - oh my god, how i loved it! i was a part of it and it of me - but i don't have that connection with my digital -

anyway, thanks so much for the kind words - and conversation - and do drop in again any 'ole time! have a great day!
