unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

tweet me, but tweet me gently, please!

a different place...

i reach into a different place
each time i see your gentle face
places traced never before
till fate brought you to my door
footsteps etched in darkest times
dare my heart now make you mine

Multiple places and multiple stories
In each place the tale
In each place novel
But we hope to be fairy tales and novels Tiba

"i reach into a different place"... You can't imagine how that line grabbed me, Jenean! We always think we "know" the Other.

Que devrais-je te répondre aujourd'hui
Que devrais-je écrire
Mon esprit se tarit de très loin
Des yeux regardent, brûlants

J'ai plaisir à te dire
Que lanuit sera longue
À devenir demain

Si on sonne
N'oublie pas de répondre
C'est peut-être ton amant
qui passe dans prévenir

Que devrais-je répondre
À ces mots qui t'appartiennent
Passion, mais aussi bonheur
À ton coeur trop ouvert

Would you believe it, there was a moose on the other side of the lake this morning... No canoeing though, there is still a foot of ice on it, rather fragile ice at that.

How's that about a guy who didn't know what to write, eh? The game is more evenhanded when I write in French... maybe even a bit dishonest at that, and this adds some spice!

Somebody once told me, "Do you know, it would ge really beautiful if you knew how to write." He had to pay a beer for that one, even if he was right of course.

Good evening, dear Jenean! :-)))

wonderful comment, as always, dear nevine - you know, i think it's true - that we do reach into a different place with that other - because they touch places in us never touched before or places dormant for too long - and thus, we reach into ourselves into different places in response to that touching - for me, it is true, anyway - and then, the question of daring - and so we dare - for even one moment one tiny iota of love - sigh..... -

je vous remercie pour vos paroles toujours beau, cher Roger - et la façon de me répondre, elle est simple - répondre que ce qui se trouve dans votre cœur -
