unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

the red lights...

where life filled avenues
once held them
close
she walks now
the empty streets
of memories

deserted streets
ravaged
by
what was right
now barren
she walks alone
stuck in the
lights of red
at every corner
stop
do not go
stop

Jenean, this is so absolutely beautiful. Something is too haunting about that red light, that stop light. That light stops us when we want to keep going. Even when we are alone...

oh, so true, of the red light - stopping us in our tracks - day or night - even when alone - the red light that haunts and harasses - and halts - stopping us -

you always always "get" my words, dear nevine! thank you!
