unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

the dark and dangerous...

he found her dark and dangerous
but how or why she did not know
was it
his own closed mind
his own blinded black soul
his own bitter brittle heart
that found her dark
that found her dangerous
did he not know that from the
smoldering magma that was her
grew the magnificent transvaal daisy
raising its glorious red orange head to the heavens
the flower that was sunshine here on earth
did he not see that from the
smoldering igneous rock that
was her soul
spewed forth the shimmering steam
that with its incandescent mist dropped beauty all around
did he not feel that from the
erupting firey flow
that was her spirit
came a burning river of passion
channeling its way to his own
he found her dark and dangerous
but how or why she did not know
could he not see
her soul
her spirit
her core
were
all
aglow

Poetry eludes me tonight
This strange language of yours
I can't feel through it
My soul jumps to this other level
This level with other words
Words really dangerous
Words better not said
Except in this other language

But who are you sweet Lady
If you're not dark and dangerous
Who are you if not a mirror
Souls touching, playing with fire

Passionnée tu es, sweet Jenean
Passion et malheur
Gare à ton bonheur
Je vois tes yeux pleins de larmes

As usual, I love reading you. I love reading you even if I do not understand. How could I? You're so cryptic!

peut-être vous avez raison, après tout, cher monsieur - peut-être -

je suis heureux, cependant, si vous devriez trouver un peu de beauté dans mes vers, que je trouve autant dans la vôtre -

thank you for coming over and have a glorious day up there in the land of cold!

Didn't I say so? This is thoughtless of me. You already know that I think that you write beautifully - and you simply did it once again.

Without beauty the words are powerless - or is it that the power of the words give them beauty?

Thoughtlessness is ingrained in Humanity's definition, as well as so many other things. :-)

The lake is once more unfrozen, a temporary state of affairs.

i have never found you, sir, thoughtless in any way - nor do i imagine that i ever will - and again, i truly am humbled by your finding my writing with any favor at all -

oh, the lake unfrozen - then perhaps the birds are feeding on it today - here the sun is gloriously out in all her splendor - the windows are open and a slight slight breeze just touches inside - through the window beside me i can hear little critters, maybe crickets, chirping and the ladybugs try to come through the screen - every once in a while the golden silence is interrupted with human voices - would that i were back on the beach with no sound but that of the marshland grasses blowing in the wind on one side and the waves lapping the shore on the other - that was truly heaven on earth!

Beautiful! I'd like to think of myself as being this mysterious lady :) Perhaps it was his own darkened path that blinded him to the beauty before him. Sometimes our own negativity covers our eyes from really seeing what's there.

powerful writing, GypsyWoman!

but the subtle softness underneath
is equally believable!

great writing!

hmmm...more thoughts from the image blown up -

FIRE and WATER
the soft silky mist
enveloped the
liquid fire of her soul
surrounding her
holding her gently
as her life force
poured into the
estuary of his heart
symbiotically inseparable
neither able to survive alone
each wanting needing requiring
the other

- or something....
:)

you are so right, life, about negativity preventing our being able to see the "light" - the light the good the love - and i cannot imagine that you are not that mysterious woman to someone somewhere or that you will be! :)

thank you so much for coming by and leaving a note! so appreciated!
