unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

tweet me, but tweet me gently, please!

the taste of raindrops...

in sweet sleep
the soft rhythmic splash
of raindrops
trickled into her thoughts
like the
taste
of
him

Delicious....

You always have the perfect images for your poems - do they inspire the words? or do you search endlessly for the right image?

good morning deb - thanks so much for comment - on the images/poems, it can go either of a couple of ways - sometimes i browse my collected images and see if one strikes my fancy for the moment and then i let it "tell" me what it wants to say and i write the words - or - i have a couple of words or thoughts that are running through my head to which i have a sort of visual image of what i want to accompany them and if i don't have the right image saved already, i'll browse a bit [but never for long as that would mean that the words aren't ready to be said yet - know what i mean?] -
but either way, i always go back and forth between the image and the words as i'm composing the poem to let the image "speak" -

thanks so much for coming by and have a wonderful day!
