unfulfilled love - unrequited love - love relinquished - life unlived...

we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - we'll share our stories of love around the campfire - come along -

poetry from the heart...

POETRY FROM THE HEART - my own words dedicated to all the words left unspoken, the acts left undone - the love unlived unfulfilled -

i dance with you...only in dreams...

tweet me, but tweet me gently, please!

this sudden emptiness...

it came
without warning
an insidious disease
perniciously worming
its way into
under the skin
burying itself there
only to then
instantaneously
erupt disrupt corrupt

all that was
of us
leaving in its
burrowed path
only the void
without
you

this
sudden
emptiness

When love ends, this is what you get, emptyness, all right.

Loss as a physical putrefaction... What an amazingly original way to describe it! It's like a rotting wound. Yes, that's how you describe it, Jenean. And that's so precisely how it is! I love your words, and the thought behind them more.

I know the feeling well, it seeps into you taking over every cell as you attempt to reclaim the spark within. It is strong though, even when I think I am getting on top it, there it is again, sneaking around my soul wishing to capture me once more..........

...soo much loss... i could say!!!

you know, lake, in some cases, it isn't that the love ends, but that the relationship ends, for whatever reason - and thus, the loss might be even more profound as that "possibility" is still floating around but cannot be acted upon - there is, virtually, no "end" - just LOSS - and so, perhaps, felt more intensely - do you think?

thank you so much for so faithfully tagging along over here - your visits mean a lot, lady!

and dear nevine - yes, you always know exactly what i mean - the rotting open wound that never heals - how can it heal - he is still there wanting her - she is there craving him - but it cannot be - like salt in an open wound -
